The starting point.
The room's fixed finishes could not be replaced. New furniture and ceiling lighting were allowed; later feedback asked for blinds and furniture arrangements that respected the door approaches. The three proposals explore different palettes around those existing finishes.

CONCEPT DIRECTION 01
A cool counterpoint to pink.
A blue rug and lounge chair balance the warm pink floor. Dark seating and slender metal furniture give the room a more graphic character, while the yellow paper lamp adds a warm accent.

- The blue rug introduces one large contrasting area without proposing replacement of the pink tile.
- Black upholstery and chrome frames repeat a sharper line across the seating group.
- White blinds make the window wall a quieter backdrop for the stronger furniture colors.
CONCEPT DIRECTION 02
Let the floor join a warm palette.
The ivory sofa, mustard chair and wood blinds work with the floor's warmth. Curved bentwood and a striped rug introduce variety without making every piece a different saturated color.

- Ivory upholstery creates a softer transition between the pink floor and white tiled walls.
- Mustard fabric and warm wood repeat related tones at the chair, window and furniture.
- The stripe rug and bentwood silhouette introduce pattern and curves into the tiled room.
CONCEPT DIRECTION 03
A playful room around a fixed floor.
A pale green sofa gives the room a lighter center. Red and yellow details, an arched-front cabinet and a blue-and-yellow ceiling fixture make the fixed finishes part of a deliberately colorful composition.

- The green sofa introduces a fresh counterpoint to the pink floor without overwhelming the wall tile.
- Red and yellow appear in several smaller accents so the palette reads as a connected choice.
- Arched cabinet fronts and rounded lighting soften the repeated straight lines of doors and tile.
